Are you starting college soon and there's no PorColombia chapter in your new school? or, are you a transfer student and cannot find the right organization for you? We're glad to tell you that you can start a PorColombia chapter and join hundreds of fellow Colombians and Latinos on celebrating our heritage while enriching their college experience in an unparalleled way.
Currently, PorColombia has 13 student chapters in 6 different US states and 1 in Canada (Baruch College, Columbia University, Cornell University, New York University, Yale, American University, Georgetown, The George Washington University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Florida, Florida International University, Princeton and York University in Toronto, Canada). In addition to the student chapters, we currently have one professional chapter in New York City. This means that when you graduate, we hope to have a professional chapter in your city so PorColombia keeps helping you grow and succeeding on your career.
Ready to start the process? The first step is sending us a detailed message to info@porcolombia.net with your plans, where do you want to establish a new chapter and your expectations. We have a dedicated team with plenty of experience managing student chapters. We'll get back to you in no time with next steps.
Finally, if in your school they already have a Colombian organization and they want to become part of PorColombia, we are more than happy to guide you on the conversion. Some of our current chapters already transitioned from another organization into PorColombia without any problems. We are fully aware that each university or college has its own identity and we are committed on preserving it while integrating your chapter with PorColombia's structure and values. At the end, everyone is aiming for the same goal: Take advantage of the networking opportunities while celebrating our heritage and benefiting Colombia and the communities we live in.
Looking forward to her from you soon!
